Presentation 1: LiveU: New Ways to Deliver Non-stop Live Video Coverage

With LiveU’s complete family of 3G/4G bonded uplink products, more options are available for live news and event coverage. All LiveU products connect with LiveU Central, enabling control rooms to manage multiple incoming video feeds and content simply and effectively from units operating in different locations. LiveU will bring their flagship LU600, which is LiveU’s new portable transmission unit for global newsgathering, live sports and events coverage. They will also show the LU200, LiveU Solo and Solo HDMI encoder/field units, and their NDI capable LU2000 server using the unique and trademarked Reliable Transport protocol (LRT™) that is at the heart of LiveU products to deliver optimized video performance.

Presentation 2: Newtek HD/3G/4K/UHD 60p Production System

The most complete production system for switching, streaming, recording in HD, 3G, and 4K UHD 60p available today, the TriCaster TC1 represents the continued innovation of the iconic product that defined an industry. This is the cornerstone of the NewTek NDI® production system that is the common thread running through each of our presentations. It’s equipped with hundreds of advanced production capabilities and has dual-channel live streaming to Facebook Live, Microsoft Azure, Periscope, Twitch, and YouTube Live.

Presentation 3: What’s up with Panasonic Media Entertainment Company?

The newly formed Panasonic Media Entertainment Company will unveil their new AU-EVA1 5.7K Super 35 Handheld Cinema Camera and will also show their VariCam LT. Also on display will be their lineup of studio production and monitoring equipment: UC3000, UCU500, HVF100, HRP1000. Also, their PX380GF/PX270 camcorders, which can be integrated with LiveU, and Panasonic’s NDI-HX PTZ cameras and HLC100 media switcher/controller which will showcase the NewTek partnership and display seamless NDI 3.0 capabilities and workflow.


Presentation 1: George Klippel, LiveU Director of Channel Sales U.S. and Canada is a professional with a track record of success in solution selling, channel management and cloud-based media technology for the Broadcast, Digital Media, Film and Entertainment industries. In addition, George has over 25 years of experience in the broadcast television, post production, higher-education and corporate sectors.

Presentation 2: Chris Burgos, NewTek North East Territory Manager, Workflow Specialist is a video technology professional working for one of the production industry’s most recognized innovators in today’s broadcast technology marketplace. As NewTek continues to be a change-agent in the video industry, leading the shift to IP video workflows with the NewTek IP Series and NDI® (Network Device Interface) Chris leads the way in applying and demonstrating and fundamentally changing the way video is created and used, allowing more people to share their stories, experiences, and ideas with the world and making it easy to do.

Presentation 3: Michael Bergeron, Senior Business Development Manager and Studio Camera Product Manager for Panasonic Media Entertainment Company. As streaming video and IP video were identified by Panasonic as primary growth opportunities, and global technology partnerships had been focused on file based workflows, Michael was tasked with launching the crucial work of building a streaming and networking technology alliance program beginning in North America, while still utilizing relationships to develop near term business opportunities.
