What new technologies addressed stadium content? Are cable networks looking at 4K? Do they have an interest in IP standards update? What technologies are stations interested in? Were these expectations met? Did the manufacturers provide the solutions the panelists need? What products or technologies particularly impressed them this year? Audience Q&A encouraged.

Greg Gialloreto: QVC, Director of Global Broadcast Architecture
Greg has 27 years of television experience. During his career he has worked as a freelance TD, remote truck EIC, director of broadcast engineering, director of production and broadcast engineering operations and his most current role Director of Global Broadcast Architecture for QVC.

Karl Kuhn: Senior Video Systems Application Engineer, Tektronix
Karl supports Digital Audio and Video, Compression, IP, File Based, and RF test and measurement. He has been at Tektronix since 2000. Prior to Tektronix he was the lead Video Test Engineer for IBM in their Digital Video Development Laboratory in Bethesda, MD. Karl holds 3 U.S. patents and 1 Japanese patent that cover In-service Testing of Digital Broadcast Video.

Anthony Plosz: VP of Engineering & Operations, WCAU-TV
Tony joined WCAU last year and oversees the technical operation of both NBC10 & Telemundo62. He is leading the design direction and implementation of WCAU/WSSI’s move downtown to the Comcast Technical Center. Prior to NBC10, Tony spent 12 years with the FOX O&O group. Before his entry into broadcast media he was an Information Technology Consultant specializing in LAN/WAN design and Information Security.
